what is the perfect Entertainment for my wedding shower?

I am planning a wedding shower in the next couple of months for my side of the family and i am having difficulty picking out unique entertainment for the party. I want to have a similar wedding to my cousin. Hers was elegant yet very relaxed. It was very fun and memorable for us all. Mine however, is gonna be a bit more elegant than hers, but i want to make it just as comfortable and fun as hers was. I want to incorporate a royal style with a relaxed environment of my family. I would like to have entertainment at me shower that reflects that style that is unlike the traditional party games and such. Any ideas?

I'm supposed to write an essay with that topic. What happened to entertainment during world war two? I just don't know what my thesis or question should be relating to the topic. I had that propaganda was effectively used through entertainment and media, but it's not strong enough. Any ideas?
